What We Do

Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS)

We install complete medical gas pipeline systems covering medical oxygen, medical air, nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide, surgical air, vacuum, and anaesthetic gas scavenging (AGSS). All pipework is carried out by our MGPS-trained engineers using approved materials and installation methods.

Outlet and Bedhead Panel Installation

We supply and install medical gas outlets, bedhead panels, pendants, and area valve service units (AVSUs) to the design requirements of each project. All outlets are tested for flow, pressure, and gas identity before handover.

Plant Room and Source Equipment

We install medical gas source equipment including oxygen manifolds, medical air compressors, vacuum pump sets, and associated plant room pipework and controls. All plant is installed in compliance with current standards and manufacturer requirements.

Testing, Commissioning & Certification

All medical gas systems installed by Fergal Warren Mechanical are subject to rigorous testing and commissioning in line with IS EN ISO 7396 Part 2. We work with appointed Verifiers to ensure all systems are independently verified before being put into clinical use. Comprehensive testing records, certificates, and as-built drawings are provided on handover.

Zone and Area Valve Service Units (AVSUs)

We install and test all zone isolation valving, with clear labelling and documentation to support safe system management by the healthcare facility’s engineering team.

Works to Existing Systems

We carry out extensions, modifications, and remedial works to existing medical gas pipeline systems, working under controlled conditions and in compliance with the Permit to Work requirements of the host facility.
